Bet365.co.uk Review

posted by admin in Odds

www.bet365.co.uk – Up until two weeks ago you would never heard me say a bad word about Bet365 but after recent events I only use the site for Football betting after they let me down on a couple of occasions.

CLICK HERE TO BET AT BET365

When I logged on to my account the other week I noticed I had a loyalty payment from Bet365 which I thought was very considerate at the time and did not understand why I had been given it as I had not had a bet with them for a while. Then I tried to make a bet on a Horse race using my loyalty money but was unable to place the bet so I contacted Bet365 via the phone asking them why? To my astonishment I was told I could not use my loyalty money until I had used all the money in my account which I found literally amazing! So the truth behind the loyalty payments is clear to me and that is if you do not use your account regular you will get a loyalty payment which is in fact to try and get you to speed up with betting on the money you currently have which they hope you lose before you get to use your loyalty money.

Another sore point I found this week was there no runner no bet rules, I placed a bet for Cheltenham though Bet365’s ante post and was pleased with the price I was offered, this week the horse I had a bet on switched races and ran in another race so I thought my bet was still safe but yet again after checking my account and finding out I had lost my bet and stake I once again contacted Bet365 to tell them what had happened but was told the horse was a non runner but as it switched races surely it cannot be classed as a non runner!! Because it has run but just not in that race, after about ten minutes of being on the phone I realised I would not win and will never use Bet365 except maybe for a Football bet again. www.bet365.co.uk

This advert was taken from The Sun newspaper and again was pulled out of the sports section of the paper and it is for betting giants Coral. Coral are one of the nations leaders in the betting industry, not only on the high street but also online and with offers and odds like the ones shown in this advert, we can see why they have as many members both new and existing as they do. I do think they try and push a bit too much into this ad considering the size of it but at the same time it doesn’t look too squashed and they still get the message across. At the top of the advert we see the main offer which is there to attract it’s new potential members, bet £25 and get a free £50 bet or bet an initial £50 and get a free £100 bet, this is for new telephone and online members. Then at the bottom of the advert is a number for you to call along with it’s opening times, or the website which is where the majority of the members will go, because a) its easy and b) it’s where you go into much more detail of what you wish to bet. The main body of this advert is taken up by odds on the Champions League matches featuring Inter Milan and Man United.

Every year when the race diary is released for a season, there are three dates that everybody heads straight for, one of them being the Grand National, secondly is the Derby and finally is the big one, the Cheltenham Festival. Millions of pounds are bet every year during Cheltenham week with the Gold Cup on the final day being the main race in the week. This week is an absolute dream for the bookmakers and this is why you see the ones who don’t advertise as much or as big really come out of the woodwork.
This advert is for Ladbrokes and Metro and was taken from free newspaper The Metro, The two have combined to give a fantastic offer for a race in Cheltenham week. All you have to do is register as a brand new customer with Ladbrokes but use Metro as your promotional code and they will reward you with a FREE £5 bet, to get this you have to deposit £5 but you are allowed to withdraw it from your account after a 24 hour period. To be honest I was quite surprised to see these two collaborate because they both have their own websites for placing bets, you wouldn’t get someone drinking a can of Pepsi in a Coke advert would you?

Coral Sports Book – Andy Murray

Coral sports book – After a bout of illness that kept him out the Davis Cup squad and affected his performance at the Dubai Open, Andy Murray has been cleared of suspected Glandular fever leaving him clear to get back to full fitness and push ahead with his recent run of excellent form.

BET NOW

The 21 year old from Dunblaine in Scotland remains off colour but is starting to recover from what is now thought to be a viral infection. He has travelled to California for the first Masters event of the year which started on the 9th March at Indian Wells.

In recent years, this event has been dominated by Roger Federer and Rafael Nadal who have won four of the last five titles (Federer winning three and Nadal taking one). Murray will need to hit the ground running if he is to stand a chance against the likes of Nadal and Federer. He has shown tenacity against this pair in the past but with his illness hanging over him, he may fall short should he be drawn against either of these two.

Another star making their return at Indian Wells is Maria Sharapova. The Russian has been struck down with numerous injuries this season and her right shoulder continues to cause problems. After a period of recuperation, Sharapova has made good progress in her plight to get back to fitness and will be looking for a solid performance in order to boost her confidence, which will have been badly affected after a significant break from the game. Paddypower.ie – Premier League

posted by admin in Odds

www.paddypower.ie – Aston Villa chief Martin O’Neill acknowledges a position in the top four of the Premier League is the club’s ‘Holy Grail’ after leaving out eight first-team regulars for the Uefa Cup.
O’Neill has excluded Gareth Barry, Brad Friedel, Emile Heskey, James Milner, Ashley Young, Gabriel Agbonlahor, Carlos Cuellar and Stiliyan Petrov from his 19-man squad for the jaunt to CSKA Moscow on Thursday.
Villa dropped away from 3rd to 4th in the Premier League as they suffered 1-0 at home to Chelsea on Saturday.
O’Neill found his players were exhausted after tying 1-1 with CSKA Moscow in the first leg of their round of 32 tie on Wednesday night.

BET NOW

CSKA savour a slim advantage after registering a 1-1 draw at Villa Park in the first leg, only O’Neill has resolved to balance his superstar assets as the club expect to come through in Russia.
Villa are hoping to qualify for next following season’s UEFA Champions League through ending up in the top four of this term’s Premier League, and O’Neill has repeated his confession that domestic affairs assume precedence.
But O’Neill acknowledges that it is an awkward conclusion to downgrade the Uefa Cup after Villa – who presently ride fourth in the league – battled through the pre-season Intertoto Cup to gain a berth.
Villa striker John Carew – who is a member of the team journeying to Moscow – has endorsed O’Neill’s tactical call.
Carew has been exercising to retrieve full physical fitness coming after a three-month back complaint and he has been pressured to contend with a seat on the bench in past weeks.
But the once Lyon and Valencia man is convinced he could shortly influence his way ahead of either Gabriel Agbonlahor or Emile Heskey in O’Neill’s pecking order. www.paddypower.ie

Sportsbook.com – Juande Ramos

posted by admin in Odds

www.sportsbook.com – Juande Ramos, the Real Madrid manager, has declared Liverpool are a good deal more than a one-man team as they get ready for their last-16 Champions League tie tomorrow.
Steven Gerrard continues to stay an uncertainty for the game in spite of journeying with the remainder of the team to Madrid. And whilst Ramos acknowledges the measure of Gerrard to Liverpool, he was perceptive to remonstrate that Rafael Benitez’s side have additional menaces.

BET NOW

Ramos is positive his players won’t get carried away by their amazing recent form. Since the arrival of the past Tottenham Hotspur coach, the Spanish club have been triumphant in ten out of 11 competitive matches and from each one of their last nine in the league, hitting 22 goals and yielding only two in the process.
Ramos did acknowledge his side require the fans to help make home advantage matter. "I have without doubt that these types of games genuinely attract to the fans and they will be behind us at the Bernabeu," he expressed. "We call for the fans straightaway while the tie is 0-0 and not when we are 3-0 ahead."
Yesterday, Sir Alex Ferguson alleged there was "no risk" of Madrid being successful in the Champions League this season, laying claim that they lacked pace for a team. "It is the belief of a different manager, and I do not wish to remark on it," Ramos said. "I will speak about my team and I do not discuss what others say. I’m not a controversial manager." www.sportsbook.com

Totesport.com – World Golf Championships

posted by admin in Odds

www.totesport.com – Phil Mickelson is nearer than he’s ever been to the world No 1 position in advance of this week’s World Golf Championships-Accenture Match Play.
Keeping his Northern Trust Open title in Los Angeles has brought Mickelson to 3rd in the rankings. He’s been No 2 before, but has never been as short as 2.22 points trailing Tiger Woods, whose eight-month injury lay-off terminates in Tucson tomorrow. As with second-placed Sergio Garcia, Mickelson could be merely two tournaments away from bumping Woods off top spot.

BET NOW

The left-hander begins the Match Play against the 2007 US Open winner Angel Cabrera and is in the corresponding half of the draw as Woods, who prepares his comeback to action against Australian Brendan Jones.

Mickelson’s mediocre beginning to the season was cast behind him with a one-stroke triumph over Steve Stricker at the weekend, but it was a roller-coaster journey. Four clear after Saturday, he restarted with an eagle, but on the other hand had five bogeys and dropped behind Stricker by two with three holes to go. Birdies at the sixteenth and seventeenth saved the situation and Stricker was the one who bogeyed the final hole to lose. “It wasn’t comfortable,” Mickelson said. “I must become a better front-runner, but it fills me self-confidence and something to progress on for the remainder of the year.”

About the reappearance of Woods, he stated: “We want him back. We are all excited to get him back and we’re thrilled he is going to be 100 per cent. From a participants viewpoint it is becoming to be more difficult to win tournaments, but we enjoy the challenge. I hope that he remains healthy as it is obvious the sport of golf needs him, particularly at this time right now. The economy has been troubled, the patrons have been struggling – to have him come back is so crucial for the sport.” www.totesport.com

bwin.com – Chelsea

posted by admin in Odds

www.bwin.com – Chelsea are considering Vágner Love, the CSKA Moscow striker, as a possible successor for Didier Drogba if he departs the club this forthcoming summer. The Ivory Coast striker is wanted by Inter Milan and Marseilles, and Chelsea are inclined to deal if they are able to recover the £24 million they yielded for him five years ago.

BET NOW

Drogba’s contract runs out at the close of next season and he has been looking for an extension for some time, but the club are reluctant to commence talks till the summertime. Even then Drogba, 30, might be unsuccessful, as higher-ranking figures at the club have been disillusioned from his performances in the last 12 months and in that respect have lingering worries about the condition of his knees after numerous surgical operations.

Chelsea’s best case scenario would be for Drogba to be traded to Inter to ease up enough finances to reinvest in Vágner Love. The Brazil striker got on Luiz Felipe Scolari’s list of objectives prior to him being sacked last month, but the 24-year-old has also affected Guus Hiddink, the temporary coach, after relishing a glorious campaign in Russia last season, in which he hit 20 goals in twenty-six league matches.

Hiddink is inexorable that he will depart Stamford Bridge at the close of the season, but will suggest to the club on transfer targets in the interim and has assured Roman Abramovich that signing up Vágner Love for £15 million would symbolize worthy business. The Chelsea owner has got warm associations with CSKA because his past oil company, Sibneft, used to sponsor the Russian club and he would have less trouble making the deal arranged, which would torment Everton, who are gearing up a revived offer at the finish of the season after a projected loan move foundered last summer. www.bwin.com

Totesport.co.uk – Alan Lewer

posted by admin in Odds

www.totesport.co.uk – Weymouth gaffer Alan Lewer anticipates the bulk of his first-team players to depart after the club neglected to pay them up by Monday’s midnight deadline.

BET NOW

The players, who previously came forth and supplied a 14-day demand to be paid, have not picked up any earnings at all in 2009.
Lewer told BBC Radio Solent he awaits to be informed that the club will be entering administration or liquidation in the near future.
Just about the whole first team declined to play on Saturday, and the club’s youth team suffered 9-0 to Rushden.
A Football Association spokesman has affirmed they’re looking into unusual wagering practices encompassing the match at the weekend.

They will talk to all parties affected in an investigation which will in all likelihood take a lot of months.
In the meantime, a few of Weymouth’s squad are acting rapidly to guarantee their futures with different clubs.
The Rushden match was also due to be the concluding of Lewer’s tenure as the manager as he had already warned the board that he would be departing, but after Saturday’s loss he declared he wouldn’t leave behind the club in the mire and would attempt to fetch players in.

Chief executive Gary Calder is also throwing in the towel at the Terras.
And for some time, Weymouth’s players have been permitted to leave behind the club whenever they pick up offerings of employment.

The club, which has debts of roughly £300,000, has released a million shares, worth 50 pence apiece, in a crusade to conjure up finances.
